As I celebrated another birthday recently I looked around and realized what I was always told as a child “Don’t look for your happiness in money and things”. I have an amazing family, husband, kids and cousins who are more like siblings than anything else. I’ve been blessed to see things in life not everyone gets the chance to see. Everyday I get to see the world through the eyes of two children whose opinions on things differ greatly. The world focuses on monetary riches but forgets about the smaller things. Christmas or a birthday through the eyes of a child. Waking up to have another day with your loved ones. Many of us have all we need but can’t stop wanting what we see. Be grateful for the things you have and look to help those who do not have. Live within your means who cares what others have. Your kids won’t remember the fancy cars and fancy homes but they’ll remember going to a movie or fishing or just talking. Relish in the smaller things forget about what other people do. Travel even if it’s just to a local park, a change of scenery can make you appreciate the beauty of the things around you. Have a great one guys !!!
